College Boards in UEB

College board
Beginning in August 2017, College Board tests will switch to Unified English Braille (UEB). This applies to the SAT®, SAT Subject Tests™, PSAT-related assessments, and Advanced Placement® Exams. We will continue to use Nemeth Code for all math items.

The switch to UEB, with Nemeth Code, follows recommendations from the Braille Authority of North America.

All students who are currently approved for braille versions of College Board tests are also receiving this notice. Please work with your braille users and their families to ensure they are aware of and understand this change. If you have any questions, please contact Services for Students with Disabilities at 844-255-7728.

Sincerely
The College Board

PLEASE NOTE:  IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS, CONTACT THE COLLEGE BOARD DIRECTLY.
