The 60th Annual Conference of CTEBVI (California Transcribers and Educators for the Blind and Visually Impaired) will be held at the San Francisco Airport Marriott in Burlingame, CA on April 11-14, 2019.
This year's theme is Braille Redux in the Digital World.
Braille literacy is as important as ever in the digital age. Access to curricula and the ability to read and write is necessary for academic and future success and braille is vital to the literacy of those who are blind. The production and use of braille, both reading and writing, has evolved to meet the needs of the 21st century. We invite you to share your expertise by presenting fresh ideas, innovative insights, successful programs, or research results, addressing the wide range of issues facing those serving children and adults who are blind and visually impaired. Please share this letter with others who may be interested in presenting.
CTEBVI is proud to celebrate our Diamond Anniversary and our 60th annual conference. It is considered to be one of the most inclusive in the field, encompassing transcribers, teachers, paraprofessionals, rehabilitation specialists, orientation & mobility specialists, students, and parents.
