This is the final webinar in a 5-part series of Active Learning webinars in which the approach of Dr. Lilli Nielsen is discussed. This webinar will focus on different pieces of equipment or perceptualizing aids, including what they are, how they are used, and ways in which students may benefit. This approach is designed for learners who have significant multiple disabilities and are below 48 months developmentally.
Penrickton Center for Blind Children, Perkins School for the Blind, and Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (TSBVI) will host this series of five webinars on Active Learning, an instructional approach developed by Dr. Lilli Nielsen.
The webinar will be held at the following times:
- 4:00-5:00 -- Eastern
- 3:00-4:00 -- Central
- 2:00-3:00 -- Mountain
- 1:00-2:00 -- Pacific
This training event has been approved by the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP) and the State Board for Educator Certification based on the actual hours of the presentation not including breaks.
