Maryland School for the Blind’s Outreach Department presents Braille Literacy Live! Ask the Expert Series with Monica Turner.

Join experts in the field of educating students with visual impairments to ask your specific questions about braille using the Zoom video conferencing platform.

The fifth session in this series will be held on February 25 from 3 to 4 p.m. Eastern time.

Monica is an APH Educational and Outreach Specialist. Monica Turner has a B.A. in Psychology and a M.Ed. in Special Education from the University of Louisville. Monica began working at the American Printing House for the Blind in 2001 and has held positions as a Research Assistant, an Accessible Test Editor, and most recently as a Field Services Representative. Monica has also received her National Certification in Literary Braille.

Her primary focus will be sharing the latest APH products that pertain to braille and addressing any questions you may have about any braille-related APH products.
