Braille Readiness Webinar for Pre-Service Teachers

Maryland School for the Blind’s Outreach Department presents Braille Literacy Live! Ask the Expert Series with Colleen Donaldson.

Are you in training to become a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI)?  If so, this free webinar is for you!   Join expert Colleen Donaldson, Teacher of the Visually Impaired in Carroll County, Maryland, to ask your specific questions about what prerequisite skills are for learning braille. She will be focusing on sharing ideas for acquiring skills from the Braille Readiness Grid. Her enthusiasm for teaching braille is contagious!

Also, meet Conchita Hernandez Legorreta, Low Incidence Specialist for Maryland. She will be available to address any questions you may have about being a Teacher of the Visually Impaired in Maryland. 

The session will be held on Monday, May 6th from 3 to 4 p.m. Eastern time using the Zoom video conferencing platform.
