QPVI is a program improvement process designed to take a VI program’s educational team through a series of steps to improve programming and outcomes for each student.  Setting standards of practice and using student data for decision making supports improved outcomes foreach child.  All staff members are supported in working up to mutually-agreed- upon standards of practice. Current standards of practice in the field of visual impairment and special and general education strategies that are research or evidence based guide this process.
