Understanding and Assessing Glare: Minimize Discomfort and Maximize Visual Resolution

This free webinar presentation analyzes the different types of glare, and strategies for formally assessing each. Interventions may take the form of tinted lenses, visors or hats, or environmental adaptations. Dr. Sandra Rosen, coordinator of the Program in Orientation & Mobility (O&M) at San Francisco State University’s Graduate College of Education, will explain the impact of glare on orientation and mobility to help COMS and other service providers identify the appropriate intervention for a given situation.
