Logo of Braille Library in Bangladesh

The Louis Braille Memorial Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped in Dhaka, Bangladesh is actively seeking donations of all types of braille materials.  They invite you to donate your used or surplus braille, print and large print books, magazines, and journals, including religious books.  They are happy to have books in EBAE (English Braille American Edition) or UEB (Unified English Braille), in both contracted and uncontracted format.

Materials can be sent to the address below and marked FREE MATTER FOR THE BLIND AND PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED.  They shared this label for donors to print and send the package:

Mailing label for Bangladesh

They also ask that you share this request with others who may be able to help.

If you donate, they ask that you DO NOT write the price of books or materials above the packet because this would require them to pay customs .  If it is necessary to write the price, they ask that you write $ 0.01, as this will help them with the issue of custom fees.
