Recruiting Students for iPad Study

Animal Watch Vi Suite logo

Colleagues,

I hope this email finds you and your students enjoying the first part of 2014. At The University of Arizona we have spent the last 18 months designing an iPad app and accompanying materials. Our app, AnimalWatch Vi Suite, gives youth with visual impairment practice solving math word problems while gaining knowledge about endangered species. We are currently doing a feasibility study with 30 youth in Arizona. Though 2014-2015 seems far away, we are now recruiting youth in grades 5-9 for our intervention study that will begin in September. The attached flyer provides more information as does our web site – www.awvis.org. If your student is an iPad user for academic purposes, this study may be of interest. Please feel free to share this email and attached flyer with others in the United States.

Thank you,

Penny
