Survey on Technology Training Needs for Professionals

Word block saying Technology Training Needs

Dear professionals who work with children and adults with vision loss,
We all know that technology can open doors to education, employment and independent living for people who are blind or visually impaired. We also know that professionals serving children, working-age adults and seniors with vision loss need to be better supported through meaningful continuing education opportunities so that they can offer state-of-the-art technology-related training. But the universe of technology is vast, the expertise of professionals varies considerably, and time, as always, is terribly scarce.
AFB invites you to take part in an online survey to help all of us better assess what professionals in our field need, where current gaps in knowledge exist, and how we can respond to these challenges.
Any and all professionals working with people with vision loss of any age are welcome and encouraged to participate in this survey.
As a thank you for completing the survey, you will have the option of entering a drawing to win your choice of book from AFB Press (up to a $60 value). There will be two lucky winners!
Please follow the link below to the survey site:
Don’t miss this chance to win an AFB Press book and to help shape AFB’s technology-related continuing education opportunities!  Information entered for the book drawing will not be linked with your survey responses, which will remain anonymous. You will need to respond by February 29th in order to have an opportunity to win an AFB Press book. The two book winners will be announced in March of 2016.
Thank you in advance for your time and participation!
