A Young Composer is Motivated to Learn Braille

A recent article in Perkins Perspectives looks at the role of music in motivating a teenager to learn braille.  The story features 14-year-old Zach, who is a student at Perkins School for the Blind and a gifted musician and composer.   He did not know how to read or write braille, but his desire to share music he composed with others became the spark that he needed to learn braille.
