Recordable Storybooks

These recordable storybooks are helpful to young children who are blind or visually impaired or those with multiple disabilities. They are good literacy tools for young kids who benefit from auditory strategies when reading.

Recordable storybooks allow you to record your voice, so that a child can listen to a story being read while following along with the book.  These books allow you to personalize your book (using the child’s own name, for example).  Books can also be recorded in other languages and many children are motivated by hearing a familiar voice speaking or telling a story.  Parts of some pages are re-designed or missing, so that each book may not be identical to the original.

Hallmark currently offers more than 20 titles using voice save technology. The titles are grouped into Children’s Classics (including Guess How Much I Love You and Goodnight Moon), Disney Stories (such as Winnie the Pooh Plan Bee) and Hallmark Originals.
