Story about 7-year-old boy who is deafblind

Boy reading braille book while using tactile sign

Watch this video telling the story of Liam, a 7-year-old boy who is deafblind.  His mother is a regular blogger on the site, and her posts are always an inspiration!

Liam's mother, Sandy, shares the story of how Liam was born with typical vision and hearing, but became dual sensory impaired at the age of two, due to meningitis.  She talks about how he is now a happy and optimistic 2nd grader, who is learning braille and uses tactile sign language to communicate.

We are so proud of Liam and Sandy, and so deeply grateful for all that we have learned from them!
