Using Braille Stickers to Create Cards

Braille stickers from Rice Krispies

I just discovered these braille stickers from Kellog's Rice Crispies and ordered my first sheet of them.  I plan to use them with a friend who is blind, as well as a client that I have who is blind. It can be tricky to find braille cards, so I thought of using the stickers to make cards.

About the Braille Stickers

The heart-shaped braille stickers line up with the heart on the Rice Krispies Treats wrapper. Each sheet has eight phrases.  They are available through the Kellogg’s Family Rewards program.

The phrases include:

  • you’ve got this
  • you're a star
  • go for it
  • you're the best
  • good luck
  • your #1 fan
  • love you lots
  • big hugs xoxo

The video below tells the story about how Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats partnered with the National Federation of the Blind (NFB) to create braille stickers for children who are blind or low vision
