The Experience Programming in Quorum (EPIQ) conference is an international professional development workshop for educators to learn the foundational skills necessary to teach students computer science using the Quorum programming language. EPIQ was started in 2010 as part of a National Science Foundation funded project (CNS-0940521).
EPIQ 2020 will be held virtually July 13th-17th 2020.
With the release of Quorum 8 and Quorum Studio 2.0 comes an accessible 2D and 3D game editor and an entire week will be devoted to exploring it. Attendees will learn about the Quorum Programming Language and Quorum studio from the Quorum team and EPIQ community. Each day attendees will build upon the previous day's experience to finish the week with a 2D game they’ve programmed themselves. Miss a session? No worries, each session will be recorded, transcribed, and posted on YouTube for attendees to review and develop skills on their own. This year is more accessible than ever and is easier to get started with gaming than it ever has been before. Join the fun creating games!
