Transforming Braille is a project whose goal is to bring an affordable tactile eBook experience to braille readers by dramatically reduce the cost of braille displays. The project seeks to transform the availability of braille, rather than braille itself. The DAISY Consortium, RNIB, and Perkins are leading the project, which is now in its third phase.
