Create Educational Games with APH Game Kit

Kristie Smith and Kerry Isham holding APH Game kits.
TVI Kristie Smith and APH Field Services Representative Kerry Isham show various ways that the APH Game Kit can be used with students who are blind or visually impaired.
Everything in the Game Kit is tactile.  Contents include:
  • three different types of boards
  • tactile dice
  • different models of spinners, so that you can choose how many categories to use with a particular student
In this 2-minute video they discuss ideas, such as:
  • how an O & M instructor used the board to create a shopping mall to work on the core curriculum and the Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC)
  • using index cards to do vocabulary games or math problems.
