Getting Started with the iPhone and iOS 7: An Introduction for Blind Users

iPhone with braille text

National Braille Press has released the third edition of their complete, step-by-step tutorial for beginners containing basic information about using the iPhone and the iOS 7 operating system. The tutorials offer detailed instructions to guide users through setting up an iPhone, loading and backing up music, contacts, using the built-in apps, and  more. The appendix offers a list of the commands you need, with every gesture and button on the phone laid out in an organized manner. Also included are troubleshooting tips and a list of resources.  iPod Touch users will find much of the book relevant, although some of the details will not apply.
