I am a communication specialist and work for the AZ State Schools for the Deaf and Blind.  I work with children who have severe sensori-impairments and multiple disabilities all over the state of AZ.  I am an Intervener Trainer with the AZ Deafblind Project and work with para professionals, parents and educational teams who serve children who are deafblind.  I have presented nationally on various topics including developing emergent litercy for learners who are early communicators, how to develop intentionality in communication and develop symbolic levels of communication in deafblind students and all children who have multiple disabilities and severe sensoryimpairments.
