Paths to Literacy

for students who are blind or visually impaired

Where can I find braille books for adults?

Are there any sources for senior adults who have recently gone blind?  As we learn braille, a few practice books would help.

Contact NLS:  National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped http://www.loc.gov/nls/, which is a free program through the Library of Congress.

You can learn more about the service here:  http://www.loc.gov/programs/national-library-service-for-the-blind-and-physically-handicapped/about-this-service/

Many states have a Braille and Talking Book Library also, so check to see what the closest one is to where you live.
