I have over 12 years of experience as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired and am an Independent Contractor providing services through assessments, trainings and educational planning to families and school districts. I am a Cortical Visual Impairment Mentor for the state of Georgia and am Perkins-Roman CVI Range Endorsed.
Krista is the Lead Teacher of the Visually Impaired for a large school district in Kentucky with over 20 years of experience teaching students with disabilities. She has also taught students with moderate to severe disabilities at the elementary and middle school ages, as well as, preschool special education.
I am a TVI who has spent a long career in the Chicago suburbs. I can’t choose just one part of this job that I most enjoy; but currently CVI and VI with additional disabilities are my areas of focus.
Katie Chiaratti is a stay-at-home mom to two sweet boys, Teddy (age 8, with CVI and cerebral palsy) and Henry (age 2, climbing monster and giver of gray hairs). She has a BA in child development, a teaching credential, and a masters in education.
