Thank you SO much for joining me! Let me introduce myself! My name is Dakota Trasser. I am a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) working with Montgomery County ESC out of Dayton, OH.
Dr. Phil Hatlen was the Superintendent at the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (TSBVI) in Austin. He served in this position for 17 years, developing collaborative partnerships among TSBVI, Stephen F.
Debra is the former Curriculum Director at Texas School for the Blind (TSBVI) in Austin, Texas.
Karen Whitaker is a certified TVI who has worked in the field for over 23years. She previously worked at Overbrook School for the Blind for over 15years in various roles including classroom teacher and ElementaryProgram Coordinator.
I am a Teacher of the Visually Impaired. I currently reside in the state of Wisconsin where I have lived since 2000.
HuyenTran Vo is a TVI, COMS, CVRT, and CATIS. She teaches the Lowerschool and Secondary Program at the Perkins School for the Blind. She is also a Ph.D. candidate and Graduate Research Assistant at UMass Boston. HuyenTran Vo has been teaching professionally in the field of visual impairments for over a decade.
Julia is a dual certified TVI/COMS at the Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children. She is also a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) and has mostly specialized in teaching students with multiple disabilities who present challenging behaviors, which she finds very rewarding.
