Connect: A New Website with Articles Available in Arabic

Connect is a new website that was inspired to create access to materials and information in the Arabic language.

Optom Della Bijo has been an optometrist with 18 years of work experience. Currently, working in a multidisciplinary comprehensive evaluation team at Zayed Higher Organization for people of determination, Al-Ain. ​She has additional training and certifications in the area of technology and CVI (a brain based visual impairment). Her desire to help the vision community inspired her to create this new website for families and professionals who may need materials in Arabic.

Articles from Paths to Literacy and Teaching Students with Visual Impairment are included and translated.

Connect’s Mission

The mission of the website Connect is to provide all persons involved in the student’s education with the necessary resources they need to help each student become successful members of their communities and to equip those in the visual impairment field with a readily available resource to meet the wide range of needs of the students they serve.
