Peanut of Blind Faith Farm

Cover of Peanut of Blind Faith Farm

Peanut of Blind Faith Farm is the true story of a lamb who was born blind and overcame a lot of hard challenges to become a happy and healthy member of her flock.  This book by Jim Thompson, with illustrations by Rebecca Gavney Driscoll may be of particular interest to young readers who are blind or visually impaired. There are lots of positive connections and models for developing independence in the story.

A limited number of braille copies are available through the farm at $18.95 each.  If you visit their website you can read and watch the details of their fundraiser to make braille books available at no cost.  They hope these copies will be available by mid-April.  To order braille books now you can contact them through their website.
