I am a teacher of the visually impaired and enjoy working with the severe-profound/ medically fragile population. I have learned to appreciate the patience it takes to see progress with the more complex students and will spend countless hours trying to figure out how to reach them versus students that are more academic and able to show proficiency several times a day. I consistently advocate for those I serve. I am a single mother to an unfathomably artistic now teenage girl. She is seventh generation on our homestead where there’s always as many outside chores as inside.
