Deanna is a DeafBlind and VI Instructional Specialist at Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Austin, Texas. She is a certified teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and teacher of students with Visual Impairments. She has enjoyed serving students, families, and educators at TSBVI for 27 years. During her career she has worked with children, young adults, and adults who are DeafBlind, Blind or have Low Vision, with and without multiple disabilities. She is the mother of a 10 year old daughter. Her life’s work has profoundly enriched her life and she is grateful for the countless relationships her career has created for her and her family.
