Janice Milusich
Janice Milusich is a children’s author and a teacher for the visually impaired, presently working
with preschool students. She has an M.S. in Education for the Visually Impaired/Blind from
Hunter. Her children and her students’ experiences have often been the inspiration for her
writing. She’s a graduate of Stony Brook’s Children’s Literature Fellowship and Renee La
Tulippe’s Lyrical Lab. Her picture book, I Hear the Snow, I Smell the Sea, illustrated by Chris
Raschka, launches Oct. 7 th 2025. She lives in Port Jefferson, NY with her family.
