Fall or Halloween Seasonal Active Learning Mobile

This Active Learning mobile is a great seasonal activity for fall or Halloween for students with visual impairments and multiple disabilities.

As the seasons or themes change, we change what hangs on the “Hula Hanger”.  I like that it can be used as independent play or as a group activity.    It can be lowered to accommodate students seated or laying on a mat on the floor or raised to be used with students seated in a chair or standing.  I’ve tried to use items that will offer a variety of texture, sound, weight, and visual interest.
  • Black and orange pompoms
  • String of bells
  • Red scarf
  • Small wind socks
  • Pumpkin lights
  • Candy corn cans
  • Small stuffed pumpkins
  • Blow-up ghost
  • Gold gift pom
  • Pumpkin-shaped dish scrubbers
  • Fall or Halloween garland
  • Rubber bat or spider
