Perkins invites motivated students to apply for the Educational Leadership Program (ELP), an immersive training experience designed to prepare the next generation of educators and leaders serving children with disabilities. The program is ideal for students passionate about inclusive education who want hands-on learning, global perspectives, and practical leadership skills. Perkins also collaborates with universities to help identify strong candidates and, when possible, build practicum or internship pathways aligned with academic requirements.
Who should apply
The ELP is well suited for U.S. undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates in education, special education, child development, psychology, social work, disability studies, international education, or related fields. Many participants also discover long-term opportunities at Perkins; the program serves as a pathway to full-time roles across our educational, residential, and international initiatives. Graduates leave with real-world experience, strengthened leadership skills, and a credential backed by Perkins’ global reputation. Perkins invites faculty and advisors to partner with us in preparing future educators dedicated to building a more inclusive world.
