Providing Wrist Support for Braille Writer

Tips to provide wrist support to a child using a braillewriter

I have a student who uses the Mountbatten as his brailling device. The problem he was experiencing was stamina. He was unable to braille for more than 5-10 minutes. What to do? I tried several options (i.e. adjusting table/chair height) before trying a wrist support. It worked!!! He is now able to braille for long periods of time AND now enjoys brailling!! Sometimes the tools we use are correct, but we just have to rethink access to that tool.
