Hi, My name is Melissa Rodriguez. I am a preschool teacher and also a graduate student to be a teacher of students with visual impairments.
Doreen is a TVI and COMS in the St. Cloud, Minnesota Area School District.
Mary is a veteran teacher for students who are blind/visually impaired, including children with multiple disabilities, holding two master’s degrees: one in special education (teacher for the visually impaired/orientation and mobility specialist) and one in school administration.
I have been a TVI for 40 years and am now the CVI Program Manager at Perkins School for the Blind. I also teach a class on Cortical Visual Impairment at UMass Boston, and I have a website called CVI Teacher.
We have six kids, 4 home grown (two are fabulous adults), one from Bulgaria and one from China. All are total stinkers! I’m a happy at home mom and sometimes family therapist.
