Angela Powell
I am an Outreach Consultant for Kentucky School for the Blind serving the Green River Region. This area includes 27 counties and 34 school districts. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Learning and Behavioral Disabilities (Indiana University), Master’s degree in Low Vision/Blindness (West Virginia University), and a Rank 1 in Educational Administration (Campbellsville University). I started my career as an ECE teacher and then worked as a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments before becoming an Outreach Consultant. I love the VI field, my job, learning, and working with students, community, parents, and professionals!
