Chancey Fleet

Chancey Fleet serves as technology coordinator at the New York Public Library’s Braille and Talking Book Center. Through her work with library patrons, she came to recognize the widespread need for tactile literacy skills in the blind and low-vision population. In this article she shares ideas for preparing blind children to create, use, and enjoy tactile graphics.
