Session 6 is a continuation of Investigation 5.
Materials
- WaterViz Investigation 5 Facilitator Guide
- WaterViz Investigation 5 Worksheet (BRF*, PDF)
- Supplies for building the 3D model:
- 1-inch-thick foam block (craft foam)
- paper straws (at least 6 per group, plus extras)
- ruler
- scissors
- art supplies (markers, bump dots, washi tape, Wiki Sticks)
- glue
Activities
- Environmental scientists use tactile materials to build a 3D model of climate data collected at Hubbard Brook.
- Environmental scientists explain their models to their peers and facilitators.
