I am an itinerant TVI in southern Maine. I like to try creative teaching techniques to get my students “hooked” and invested in the lesson. Part of my passion comes from being visually impaired myself.
I am a single mom to two children (Anthony, 7 and Audrey, 4). Since Anthony’s diagnosis I have completely immersed myself in blind culture. I am very active at his school (Kentucky School for the Blind) and have made lots of connections via NFB of Louisville.
Neal is an Assistive Technology Specialist for the Sonoma County Office of Education (California).
A member of the TSBVI Outreach Program since 2000, I have also been an itinerant TVI and general education social studies teacher for many years.
I am a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments at the Bureau of Education Services for the Blind in CT. I love my job and all the ups and downs that come with it! My students are rock stars and they inspire me daily.
