Dr. Tina Herzberg is a professor and the Director of the Visual Impairment Program at the University of South Carolina Upstate. She is co-author of the Pearson Nemeth Curriculum, one of the creators of Project INSPIRE: Increasing the STEM Potential of Individuals Who Read Braille Through Self-Paced Free Courses for Professionals and an author of Learning and Teaching the Nemeth Code within UEB Contexts: A Step-by-Step Guide.
In addition, Dr. Herzberg created the Braille SC website, which has since migrated to Paths to Literacy. She also co-created Tools to Support You in Having a Student with a Visual Impairment in Your K-6 General Education Classroom. She also wrote Reading Aloud to Children with Visual Impairment.
