Braille Assessment Checklist

This Braille Assessment Checklist is free to download and can help to track EBAE and UEB, from the alphabet through special symbols.

BANA (Braille Authority of North America) has a braille checklist on their website that is free to download.  Created by Tina Peaslee, Certified Braille Transcriber from Nebo School District (Utah), this 7-page document begins with the alphabet and goes through special symbols.  There are columns for EBAE (English Braille American Edition) and UEB (Unified English Braille) in both braille and print, reading and writing.  The areas covered in the checklist include:
