I am educational accessibility consultant collaborating with various educational app developers and agencies. Currently, I split my time between managing the Perkins eLearning website, Paths to Technology, presenting workshops on a national level, and working on accessibility-related projects.
Dr. Holly Cooper was formerly the early childhood consultant for the Texas Deafblind Project, which is part of TSBVI Outreach. She also worked as a deafblind consultant with school aged students and in assistive technology.
I am the parent of Dexter Ward, who has bilateral congenital glaucoma. When Dexter was three months we learned that he had congenital glaucoma. He had his first surgery when he was three months old and started wearing glasses at 18 months old.
Calleen is a paraprofessional with East County SELPA in San Diego, California.
I am a teacher of the visually impaired and a COMS (Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist). I have the pleasure of working with students of all ages and all abilities. My passion is teaching braille and adapting materials and books to make them accessible to my students.
